Welcome!

We are Chapter #125, the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Romance Writers of America®.

We serve the romance authors of the Alabama, Florida and Mississippi Gulf Coasts and our members range from beginner to PRO, from unpublished to PAN.

We write in every sub-genre of romance including: Contemporary, Inspirational, Historical, Paranormal, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense, and Young Adult.

If you’re looking for a group dedicated to nurturing beginning writers, helping intermediate writers get to the next level, and assisting published authors to maintain career success, you’ve come to the right place.

Our chapter meets on the first Saturday of every month (with exceptions for holidays) from 11 AM to 1 PM at Ryan’s Steakhouse in Tillmans Corner, Alabama. You are welcome to attend one meeting as a guest.

Membership Dues are $24 annually and chapter members must also belong to the Romance Writers of America®. Members will receive a monthly copy of the chapter newsletter, Silken Sands, and are encouraged to participate in the chapter’s Yahoo Group list.
