Bring 2 pages (up to 500 words) of your pitch, query letter, synopsis, book opening or scene. Authors Vicki Hinze and Kathy Carmichael will read and make suggestions for improvement. Even if you don’t have something to bring, you will learn oodles from suggestions made to others.

Vicki Hinze is the author of 24 novels, 3 non-fiction books and hundreds of articles, published in as many as 63 foreign countries. Named in Who’s Who Among Women, in America and Who’s Who in the World as a writer and an educator, the award-winning author is now focused on writing faith-affirming thriller novels. Award-winning author Kathy Carmichael writes mysteries, women’s fiction, and romance novels. Her recent novel, Hot Flash, was named as one of the Top 10 Romance Fiction titles of 2009 by the American Library Association’s Booklist magazine. A Writer’s Digest Contest judge in the mainstream/literary category, Kathy is also known for her writing and publishing seminars.
