Fran McNabb

Fran McNabb grew up along the beaches and islands of the Gulf of Mexico and uses this setting in most of her manuscripts. Her publishing credits include two contemporary romances with Avalon Books (A LIGHT IN THE DARK, Dec 2006, ONCE IN A HALF MOON, June 2008), and a historical romance, ON THE CREST OF A WAVE, coming in February 2010.

Fran earned both her B.S. and her M.E. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and taught English and journalism until she took an early retirement. Now she spends her time writing, reading, and enjoying the quiet bayou harbor where she lives with her husband and cat.
