Connie Chastain
Born in Georgia, I grew up a preacher’s kid in Alabama, where I also attended college. I married a Louisiana boy and currently reside with my husband of thirty-plus years in west Florida.
I’m a former staff writer for The Florida Sun, (now the Pensacola Independent News), which was published, starting in 1999, in Pensacola, Florida. Although the zany little tabloid’s motto was “Read Cover to Cover, Never Bound by the Truth,” my articles were all nonfiction and ran the gamut from travel to current events and chemtrails to Bigfoot in Dixie.
Now I write fiction, particularly romance, mainstream with romantic elements and Southern fiction. I’m prepublished and recently received word that I’ve reached PRO status in RWA.
