From registration on Friday morning to our
fantastic Book Fair you'll delight
in the
sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach.
Network
with writers, agents and editors. Pitch
to
an agent and editor. Attend workshops
given
by publishing professionals. You could
win
one of our fabulous raffle prizes or
a critique
from an agent, author or editor of
your choice.
For the critique raffle, bring the
first
30 pages of your manuscript in case
you're
one of the lucky winners.
We’re at the beach. For conference sessions,
come casual (capris, sundresses,
etc). No
need for the usual professional
suits at
Silken Sands, but the hotel gets
cold so
be sure to carry a sweater.
Saturday evening banquet is a little dressier,
but not formal.
| Our 2008 Keynote Speaker
NYT Bestselling Author Sherrilyn Kenyon
New York Times bestselling author, Sherrilyn
Kenyon lives a life of
extraordinary danger...
as does any woman with
three sons, a husband,
a menagerie of pets and
a collection of swords
that all of the above have
a major fixation
with. But when not running
interference (or
dashing off to the emergency
room), she’s
found chained to her computer
where she likes
to play with all her imaginary
friends. With
more than ten million copies
of her books
in print, in twenty-six
countries, she certainly
has a lot of friends to
play with too.
Writing as Kinley MacGregor and Sherrilyn
Kenyon, she is an international
phenomenon
and the author of several
series including:
The Dark-Hunters, The League,
Brotherhood
of the Sword, Lords of
Avalon and Nevermore.
With an international,
cult following, her
books have appeared on
the top three of the
New York Times, Publisher’s
Weekly and USA
Today lists (often hitting
#1 on the national
and international lists,
among others).
The Kenyon Minions are a million strong and
growing every day, all
over the world. Join
in the fun!
